Time for a quick look at a 29-Cent US stamp from 1991 that celebrates Numismatics / Coin Collecting! It was issued in the Centennial Year of the American Numismatic Association ( ANA) and was released at the ANA Centennial Convention in Chicago, Illinois.

The stamp features a St. Gaudens Gold Double Eagle (obverse), a Flying Eagle cent (obverse), a scroll work "US" and the top-center portion of the back of a $10 National Bank Note depicting an allegorical figure of Liberty and Progress.

The stamp was designed by V. Jack Ruther of the Bureau of Printing and Engraving (BEP).

I enjoyed reading the summary on the back side.

"For more than two millennia, coins have carried the epic story of mankind on their shimmering surfaces, and these metal mirrors of human endeavor recount fascinating tales to anyone willing to listen, study and learn."

Those words come from a time when actual humans wrote with such elegance. Today, it would have been produced by Chat GPT.

For better or worse, I still use both hands for my posts - no Chat GPT!

Indeed - and your written work is a fine example of the people whom I referred to as writing with elegance.
