Was never able to get a photo that really showed the look in hand. Experimenting with videos so thought I'd share this one more time. Will submit this to NGC shortly!

Beautiful coin!
I need to ask...why NGC?

Have you thought of sending this to Rick Snow and having "HIM" sending it in on your behalf (either NGC or PCGS)...(I went with PCGS because of their resale) and after it grades out...have him put his Eagle Eye seal on it...?

Before you send it in...get in touch with him...send him some pic's...ask for his opinion...he did write the book...just saying (very nice guy)

He might even make you an offer...?

Good luck either way!

Thanks for the reply and appreciate the questions and suggestions.

With respect to NGC vs PCGS, the simple answer is that I joined NGC when I started curating this large collection that had some great coins but nothing at all was slabbed. For this coin, I'm certainly open to using a different service. I'm not so familiar with these TPG submissions, which means perhaps all the more reason to get some help, as you suggest.

I will look into your suggestion more and perhaps reach out. It is a good idea. Thanks again.

the vid shows the coin much better. my only concern regarding grade is what appears to be a duller surfaces in a lot of areas so it may be missing a lot of its luster. I had it between 63 and 64. most likely due to the limited luster i'll go with MS63. maybe it could pull a + on that. based on what everyone else is saying you have a really nice rarer piece.
