The one plus I give you is the die scratches coming off the bottom of the one towards the rim look right to me

MM does look off. Coppercoins has some additional markers that appear to be missing. However, that L is pretty convincing.
I swing a metal detector and have a knack for finding dirty old coins.

Agree with something going on under the "L" but I don't see this matching any of the listings on CC, Wexler's, or VV...

It is definitely not DDO-001. To me, it looks like there is damage, moved metal from the bottom of the L that makes it look like a "bar L". I think it is just damage to the coin.

Two different pics of the OP's coin, you can easily see the damage to the coin, misplace metal from the bottom of the L, as I said earlier, a damaged coin.
