anyone collect the adult art silver bars and rounds? do they command a premium price over spot price? local on line auction house has one and so far the price is a little over spot, but 6 days left so don`t know where it will end up

For the most part, these are novelty items. Whoever made them can keep cranking them out as long as their molds / dies hold out. In my opinion, they don't really have any premium over spot, but as with anything some people might really value them. To each his own, I suppose.

There's usually some adult themed silver on ebay. I think most are R rated, not X rated. You can check sold ebay listings for prices. I have a 1 oz silver round with President Kennedy one side, topless Marilyn Monroe on the other. My mom gave it to me for my birthday back in the 1980s. She bought it at a local coin store. I do not know what company made it.

There's a lot of silver rounds with cartoon characters, comic book heros, movie themes, holidays. There's a market for them but the premiums are higher than just stacking generic rounds. When selling you may or may not get your money back. My local coin store won't pay much of a premium for them. I think it's fun to have a few, but not the majority of a stack. Even the US Mint is going to release some DC heros, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman. Other mints have already done this. It will be interesting to see how popular the US Mint ones are.

Well this is what "adult art" means to me https://www.herobullion.com/2022-1-...silver-coin/

I buy it as long as the premiums aren't to crazy because my wife is an artist and gets a kick out of me displaying them.

I like the work of Germania mint most of all. They are true artisans in metal work and silver is such a lovely canvass to display on. I put a BU Libertard on the mantle as well just for when the afternoon light hits the glorious silver on display. Theres a few more added since I took this picture and will update it once my new one comes.
