In a SEGS holder, seller's pics. Guess their grade and/or share yours.

I'll guess MS-64.

To me it looks rubbed in the hair above the ear. I think this is an unfortunate AU58 with rub only in that high point. Beautiful coin nevertheless.

I already gave away the VAM in the title, Greasy Fingers. Sorry, you know you gotta be specific with these things, that little Hawk-Tuah might get confused for a casting bubble or something. @numismatic student here's a closer pic of the hair above the ear. I can neither agree nor disagree with you, I wouldn't be surprised either way.

I agree that it is not conclusive, just my opinion. I did blow up the area a lot when examining your excellent pictures. I considered whether this was due to strike weakness, but the coin looks so well struck everywhere else.

Looks MS to me, with strike weakness over the ear. CC Morgans are usually well-struck but softness over the ear isn't rare. Looks like a solid MS-63. SEGS may say 64 or even 65. Nice Spitting Eagle regardless.

The gashes on the reverse hurt, but I'd say still at least solid 63.

Good call Zurie. The heavy hits on the cheek and Reverse make this an MS63 for me as well.

I'm having a difficult time discerning remaining luster across the cheek based on your photos. to me it looks like its not all there based on your last blow-up photo. that would keep it out of the 64 and 65 box. this leaves only two grades for me, AU58 slider or MS63. I'm going with MS63 for a typical TPG grade but SEGS may have bumped it to MS64. when you get into MS grades on CC coins you're getting up there in value so I hope its an MS coin for you

The rub on the cheek really has me leaning towards a AU58 slider. Reverse looks MS though.

Here's the reveal: Who wants to change their guess to AU58?
