Hi all - does anyone know about old vintage US Mint or Bank canvas coin bags?

A while ago I posted my sack of 'junk silver', and thought wouldn't it be cool to have it in a proper old mint or bank bag of that same era.

Problem is, quick search on ebay, the only dates I see are 1970s and later, wouldn't it be great to get one from the 20s or 30s. Needs to hold $600 face, so needs to be quite large. Would also be nice to have drawstrings, most of the ones for sale seem open at the top and get sewed (permanently) shut.

So kinda like this, but bigger & with a date - you get the idea- TIA!

TimNH, I've never seen dated bags like you're searching for, but because I wasn't looking for one may not have paid attention. Good luck with your search - that's a fun project!
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

I saw some older ones auctioned off lately, can't remember if it was Heritage or GC.

You can see images of a Carson City Mint dollar bag here https://www.cointalk.com/threads/ca...-bag.387202/ but it isn't dated. I have seen a few of these before. The first one I saw was years ago at Silvertowne's table. He had it framed.
