Let's stay in a land "down under" for another week and have a look at a set of stamps issued by New Zealand in 2013 to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.

The stamps are a bit different vs. others I've shown, as these stamps place their emphasis not on the coin images they include, but rather on the portrait of QEII that appeared on the subject coin. The coin on each stamp is placed (very faintly) in the background, with the Queen's portrait found (prominently) in the foreground.

New Zealand's commemorative QEII series included six stamps, ranging in value from $0.70 to $2.90. They are presented here on a First Day Cover (FDC) that was cancelled/postmarked on May 8, 2013 - the first day of issue for the stamps.

Details on the Coin/Stamp/Portrait combinations of each issue are found on the back of the FDC.
