I was given a old ice cream tub of coins mainly for the there was mainly British and Canadian, lost of silver always good, most Canadian I was able to find out about grade, value etc.

But one of the Canadian Cent a 1858 large cent.
Apart from being in great condition for age: when I looked closely is had slight doubling on the "5" decided to check for know errors online and found out also about broken vine type.

Can you let me know your views on this coin?
Is it a doubled "5" error?
Is it a broken vine type?
what grade do you think it is? I am thinking XF
What sort of value and is it worth getting graded?
Any information will be gratefully excepted.
Thanks in advance

I think that this is the one that you have on this CCF 5/5 entry. Broken vine (twice) and broken stem, XF40+

Tough to be certain from the photos, but OE1/RC12 methinks. A later die state than previously published, so a couple of extra die cracks.
