Okay let me start off with I always, ALWAYS fall to the side of caution. I never expect something to be an error when it's 99% of the time PMD. But this coin that I just found is....different.

I first noticed the multiple die clashes but it looks like it could have been struck again and again on the Obverse, with almost a full shield clash on the Reverse.

But on the Reverse, there is a HUGE strike though! I've never seen a coin like this. I was just going to call it a vise job and put it aside, but having this strike through and then tons of imprints on it that look legit? I'm having second guesses.

All opinions are welcome! Not going to bother me if everyone thinks it's a vise job, but I just wanted to share this extremely cool coin that again, I literally just found and maybe it is the real deal!

Definitely a Vise Job. PMD. Not an error coin. https://www.error-ref.com/squeeze-j...-garage-job/

Yeah that's what I was thinking as well (Definitely not hoping for hahaha)

It's such a shame too!! The strikethrough on the Reverse looks so cool, wish this vise job wasn't on it lol. Or maybe it will just make for a funny convo starter

that large incuse area loo0ks like a strike through of gritty grease, but with the bulging in the same area on the obverse, I would say the, that too is from a vise and sand maybe.

The area on the reverse is just whatever was on the vise or flat surface that the cent was on when it was struck with a hammer or squeezed in the vise.
