Going through a 5 gallon water bottle where I have been saving coins for over 50 years and came across this 1984 penny which looks like the reverse memorial was stamped on the obverse before stamping Lincoln on the obverse.

would like some opinions and advise on what my next move should be and thoughts on value.

there is also some weird lumps on the reverse inside the memorial.

It is 2.5G and red

That is called a die clash.
The memorial is on the die so every coin struck will
have that design on it until the mint polishes it off.

Nice deep die clash!

Here's a Photoshop overlay of the Memorial cent. It shows where you would expect to see clash marks if the dies were aligned when the clash occurred.

Welcome! Nice die clash visible on obverse and reverse. Might check out below link and compare. The location of the "Y" from Liberty on the reverse second bay really stands out. The planchets struck with this die pair could/should show remnants until removed from the die face or retirement of the dies. Thanks, Doug.

Here is a link with some that have sold on ebay. A wide variance in selling prices but yours would probably be in the $15 to $20 range. Maybe just put it in a 2x2 and keep it.
