1974 Washington Quarter - Lamination And ?

I pulled this one out of circulation several years ago. It appears to be a lamination. There is a raised area of the copper core, as well as an adjoining area that was struck, but with the cupro-nickel clad layer missing. I'm not entirely sure what I have here. I appreciate the help on this.

Cool, looks like a missing clad layer before and after strike.

The wheel mark damage is unfortunate.

Strange, green on the copper like expected but green on the clad layer too?

The cladding is 75% copper, so it's not that unusual.

I agree this is a partial missing clad error.

True, especially if a very thin layer was rolled on to the copper!
