I could not find a topic for snakes. Since 2025 is the year of the snake I thought we needed one.

Interesting idea for a topic, GLB - and that's a super silver snake coin, too!

Perhaps we could limit the coins and medals to those with a snake as a major device or a significant part of a device. Otherwise the topic will become "Mexican coins and some others with snakes".

and the snake IS a major part of the design along with the bird. You are aiming this 'hondo rule' right at me ain't ya Bogus?

Excellent Boa Marve!! I love snakes ever since I was a boy.
I had 2 mated Burmese Pythons - the female was 19 feet long and weighed over 200 pounds. I'll see if I can find so pic or to, after all we don't want to fill up this topis with pictures of snakes, now do we? (h)

Quote: I have tons of Mexican coins!! Do you really want to go there and sully the topic? I have close to 1000 in 2X2s, and I'm not talking about beat-up circulated common ones like you have. I have about 5 pounds of those that aren't noteworthy enough to photograph.
