I got a little side tracked (squirrel) on ebay auctions for graded coins. Here's my latest acquisitions...

I was trying to put together a Bicentennial Set but missed out on the Quarter so far. Now I'm thinking I might need to start and Ike set

Was putting together a Jefferson nickel proof design set, may add a War Nickel although that wouldn't be a proof. Did I miss any?

Lincoln Cent design type. So far just have the shield design. Would eventually get the four 2009 designs, pre 1982 Memorial, Wheat and a Steel Wheat cent. Not sure if I should do a Memorial zinc or just stick with the copper one.

Not in a hurry to finish any of these just did it for fun.

War time proof nicks at 63 and below are still quite reasonable..

Oh, I didn't know there were proofs of those.

I know. These were all ordered about the same time. I'll get back to my regular scheduled program These are just for fun and maximize shipping, plus he didn't have any PF70 SBA's.

Nice looking coins.

Is there a focus yet for your collection - or is it whatever grabs your attention at the moment?

Either method works as it is your collection - just seems like you'll end up with a lot of random things if every bright shiny object attracts your eye when it passes by.

It does seem that way at the moment. If you're asking in general what I collect, right now non slabbed uncirculated Lincoln Cents and Jefferson nickels. Eventually I will move on to the other current denominations. As far as Graded, it's SBA then will do Ike's since they are smaller sets.

These sets were just for fun to have some different graded coins...Bicentennial Set, Jefferson Design Set and a Lincoln Penny Design Set. I got them very cheap from auction.

Not a bad day on ebay :)

So are you jail breaking these?

Putting them into pages or boxes?

Or something else?

Most of my collection is in CAPS Binders

But the Bicentennial set made the cut for my very selective "NGC XX-69 Slab Collection" and I found a set graded at PF 69 Ultra Cameo for $135 on ebay

These are staying in the slabs. I have a PCGS box for them. I may put them in pages but for now they are just going in the box.

I have a tendency to binge purchase on ebay every now and then.
