I didn't forget.
I had to stay in Kentucky extra 10 days. .

Not sure about with this one. Just looks ( puffy) on reverse. The building, the window frames everything looks puffy. It doesn't appear to be smashed.
Some letters have that look like split serifs and some with separation lines.
Maybe it's nothing.

Here's the best pictures I could catch. I have plenty more if needed.

Thanks for looking and comments.
Rob.

Tough one. Could be Die Deterioration or something else.

Thanks EV & John.

I agree with the ( or? )something else.
The split serifs are very tiny. A couple other letters has them but can't even get them to show in a picture.

What do think of the MONTICELLO letters?

That one is a tough call too. I know some Doubled Dies have doubling on Monticello. It also could be Machine Doubling or Die Deterioration Doubling. If you wanted to know for sure, maybe send it in for attribution. You could also email Tanner Scott to get his thoughts on it.

For whatever reason, Denver minted nickels often show Die Deterioration on the words Monticello and Five Cents. It typically stretches towards the building because it's a big cavity on the die. That's what you are seeing on Monticello. Not sure about the rest.
