Dug this coin today, heavily worn to the point that half of the MM is gone. I think I see the top half of a D but it may just be wishful thinking.

Would like to get some additional opinions...thx

Ya, I'm doubting now too. I look at that Reverse and I see D's all over the place. Time to set it aside. :-)

I believe that all the D mint marks were angled about 45 degrees to the right for 1916. Just looking at worn dimes on PCGS, I think a mint mark would be just as visible as the leaves. Could be wrong, of course.
