I'm looking for any information that will shed light on the maker or author of this medal.

Nice looking example!

Hopefully someone will be able to offer an answer.

Nice looking medal but I've never seen one before and nothing comes up in a search.

I have also seen it only once and now it is in my collection. The only hope is for another such owner who has a little more information about the medal than everyone else.

Since this medal is not named and there is no place for a name I would suspect this medal honors the company's anniversary and not an employee's. The location of the company maker mark could be on the edge.

WHC, that's a very nice looking employee recognition medal. Thank you for sharing the photos.

It must be admitted that the design of the emblem has changed over the years and on the medal the lady with the shield looks the best.
