My dad passed away and left me lots of fun stuff to go through. I found an envelope with 4 $100 bills labeled "keepers". I have no idea why they would be special?
They look like every other $100 bill so...
I'll post first one to get the hang of this.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

On the positive side, they're worth $100 each.

They are all different series dates/signatures. Perhaps he was keeping one of each?

Unless he had a special number / former address / birth date / anniversary pattern of numbers that each bill had in the serial number that were special to him they are just your average $100 bills.

If you need the money spend them.

If you don't need the money I would hold onto them as they were important to your father.

If you have kids or one day plan on to do so you can pass them on to them and 50 years from now when AI takes over maybe it will break the code.

Or maybe the serial numbers were a binary warning against AI.
