Hello! I just found this penny while going thru rolls. I noticed it looks really really odd. The y in liberty is almost completely nonexistent, the neck on Lincoln looks way to "thin", the back of his head looks odd lol, and his chin/beard look off. I've looked everywhere for info on this coin but I've had zero luck. Any help with this would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Thanks!

@chris, first welcome to CCF. Second, that missing letter Y might be from a bit of grease having been in the die when this coin was struck.

If it looks "odd", then it didn't look like that when it left the mint that is why you can't find anything on it.
It looks like there is something on the surface and the Y is missing probably due to a partial Grease Filled Die.

To CCF! Could be a minor Grease Filled Die issue or an over polished die issue. https://goccf.com/t/323932

Forgot to mention seeing your cents are 1992 - look for the WAM or CAM on the reverse. For 92 the Close AM is rare.
