The reverse of this coin appears to have held up better than the obverse, though it's scratched.

With a full well defined bustline on the obverse I have this coin at XF details- scratched. Not that a difference in one grade matters on a details coin like this. Nice album filler.

I want to say XF 40 straight or cleaned the Obverse photo is too bright for me to be 100% sure.

Thanks for the replies. My take on this coin is that it's hard to grade because the top half of the obverse is so much nicer than the bottom half. I don't own it.

Yes, funny how well formed the head is, and yet the dress lines are quite heavily worn. I wonder if it's actually he a slight bend in it? Just thinking out loud. Have you been able to inspect it in person?
