Picked this one up today. With a large mintage (4m) and being struck for only one year (1936) quite a few of these big silver coins were put away in high end condition before they ever saw circulation, and thus, they provide fertile ground for color hunters!

paralyse,

I saw that beautiful 1936 French Indo-China 50 cent piece last night and almost bid on it. It is lovely.

Congratulations on your pick up.

Thanks Paul! I hope it's as good looking in hand, but I have bought several coins from that seller and they have always been decent.

Thanks! Looking forward to seeing it in hand. I probably paid too much, but as I said, I'm a sucker for toned IHC's.
