I picked up a few new notes... firstly some of the earlier Kazakhstan notes from 1993.

Next a very obscure country that some might not even be aware of (I however have an interest in it) Transnistria. On the break of of the USSR it broke away as part of Moldova but still having allegiance to Russia it became a self governing province.

Nice notes, DavidUK. I do like those Transnistria notes and I have a number myself (I have the same 3 denominations but mine are from 1994). I had never heard of Transnistria before I came across these notes and that's yet another reason I love this hobby -- I learn so much about other countries and discover ones I've never even heard of. It's like being a world traveler without having to leave your office.
