I'll go MS65. Nice frosty devices on the obverse, might be CAM even.
Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art
Too many hobbies .... too much work .... not enough time.

The 1880-S is a date PCGS has overgraded significantly in the past. There are some facepalm 67s roaming around, and they force dealers to endure the wrath of customers who accuse them of trying to "steal" their coins when they point out the coins are overgraded by 2 full steps. They have tightened standards in the last year or so back to about where they were at the start of the pandemic. Depending when this one was graded, PCGS could pin anything from MS-64 to MS-67 on it.

The photos make me pause a bit. There may be some rub on the high points, most noticeable on the reverse, especially on the eagle's right talons and lower tail feathers. There seems to be obverse rub on the cotton balls, cheek, and eyebrow. I can't rule out a fantastic slider here.

If it is UNC, I'm at MS-64+. The scuffs on the nose, cheek, and eyebrow and longer scratches in the fields are just a little too much for MS-65. It's a nice looking coin.

Give everyone 72 hours before the reveal. It is not a rule, more like a request. Some want 24 hours, some want 48 hours. Really, it is up to the poster, but I say time should be allowed as a courtesy to those who cannot come here every day.

I agree. It may sound hypocritical seeing how GTP allows just over six days, but waiting 72 hours in these topics feels too long. 24 hours is probably better for our attention spans, but 48 hours would be a decent compromise.

I thought it was 48. Especially on weekends when some members may not be available.
