Oh man...you are sure finding some winners!
200,000? Surely, they don't mean US dollars?
Checking the currency exchange, I think 200,000 Vietnamese Dong is a suitable trade. That comes to USD $12.52

I needed a good laugh this morning, thanks!

Gee, here's a nicer 1896 Morgan in MS condition for about $199,965 less! You could take the money you'd save & buy a house!

I'm just glad he takes Paypal - that's my preferred way to buy coins, houses, small countries, etc.

Man, and how nice of them to offer the low low shipping price of $35 for priority mail after that steal of a bid hehe. Plus I know I'd have no worries not insuring a 200k purchase

Sent this message to the seller:

quote:
Hi, I really like your coin, but I was hoping to buy two of them. If you could find another then I'd be a fool not to pay you $400,000 for the pair. Thanks!

Of course, I left out the fact that I am, indeed, a fool.

I also find it amusing how the seller cites the Bland-Allison act--yet fails to see the significance on this coin's supposed "value"

Anyone know what eBay is going to charge these poor misguided fools for listing fees?
