The Auction is now over crystalk64 is the winner Ok lets get the Auction Forum Started
I offer up for Auction one of my second bigest msitakes in coin purchases. I bought 10 2004 Lewis and Clark Coin and Pouch sets from the Mint . I should have sold then as soon as they arrived and I would have made a tidy profit. But no [:0] I just knew these were going to go the way of the 1999 proof sets and this time I would not sell early.. Well here we are in 2005 and they are selling for a little under half what they cost from the mint on eBay. Oh well win some loose some.
Here is how it is going to work. I will randomly pull one box from the stack and send it to the winner. of the Auction
Bids start at $1 no reserve that means highest bid wins no matter how low. Shipping in the USA will be $3.85 for Priority mail with insurance optional at cost Shipping outside the USA will be at cost
Pictured below is a sample of what the box and coin look like. I am not going to show a pouch as I do not know which one the winner will get. they are all pretty much the same some a little more decorative than others all hand made by Indians the native american kind.
Oh the coin I almost forgot. Its a proof Silver Lewis and Clark $1 with all the paper stuff that the mint seem to ship with their products these days. The pouch has a bit of paper to to say who made it and what tribe they came from.
Payment check, money order or if you insist paypal
The Auction closes system time midnight on the 23rd November
I know what a pain Paypal can be I tried to set up a US address with a UK bank account. No go so I had to open an account in the USA just for paypal.... I also have friends in low places in Austrailia so I think I am safe.
I will go $50.00 and throw in a 2005 USMC commemorative silver dollar in UNC. as I played the secondary market on them and it doesn't look good!! You can check current bidding value on Ebay and make up your mind. If you prefer just cash we will watch the bidding and go from there. Please let us "traders at heart" know one way or another!
