I am posting a few odd coins collected over the years. Just wondering what the proper error term for these would be and if any of them may have any value? (more than face value of course)

The 1 cent piece may look like just a scratch under the nose but I just couldn't photograph it properly. When in hand it is much more obvious that he has a "runny nose."

Other than the dime, I think that these are all post-mint-damage. The dime is interesting though.

Is the 1945 1c "runny nose" mark sitting above the surface? If so, it must be a die gouge. Nice condition too!
The rest look like PMD to me too.

It is above the surface. It's very weird I only wish I could have pictured it better. You think the dime is post mint damage as well? How would that be done?

Great--I think your '45 1c was minted that way.
There's something about the '85 dime that looks like PMD, but I don't have one for comparison.

lol thats kind of what I always wonder about. How exactly can people even tell the difference? Its such a smooth surface on the dime that I cant even begin to think of how it would be done post mint. As for the 45 1c. What is that kind of error called? cause it cant be a die gouge right since its on the surface not in it?

If the die is somehow gouged by a tool or by wear, the coin will fill that area when struck, resulting in a raised surface.

It's just a guess with the dime, because the edge has full reeding, and so I think that did not happen when in the press.
