Edited to correct for my error in thinking he purchased ANACS.
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

I don't know what the format of the visit will be, but I have some questions and observations that I would be interested in seeing him address.

1. Since the intent of ANACS must be a desire to continue service to existing ANACS customers as well as a hope to make inroads on the other grading services, have you come up with a complete plan on how to deal with the older ANACS slabs? Many sources are saying that you intend to put "passable" coins in the new holders and continue to use the old holders for problem coins. Is this true and do you intend to designate the problems on the new (old) slabs to preserve the integrity of the older non-problem slabs?

2. Will ANACS guarantee apply to coins in the old slabs which were submitted prior to your taking the helm of ANACS?

3. If not, what is your plan to keep ANACS from becoming a real pain to separate old from new? You are surely aware that coin collectors desire consistency above all else in a grading company.

4. I haven't seen a new slab "in the flesh" yet, but the pictures make it look very susceptible to scratching if handled carelessly like they are at shows and in dealer cases. Do they have the "locking" feature that all other slabs have whereby they tend to stack easily with boxes or rubber bands to hold them together?

Good questions. 1. Only problem-free coins will be encapsulated in the new ANACS holder. "Problem coins" will continue to go into the classic holder. Only problem-free coins in the old holder will be able to cross over into the new holder. We are also changing how we handle problem coins. In the past we gave a details grade, the problem(s) the coin had and then a net grade. Now, we are giving the detail grade and the single most significant problem the coin has. We are not giving a net grade. However, if someone requests it, we will provide a net grade. For now, there is no additional charge for this service.

2 & 3. As I said in my previous post, the ANACS guarantee applies for all problem free coin in our holder, both the classic and new holder.

4. The holders stack almost as well as Legos!! You'll love 'em.
