I have been trying to contact Jim Haxby, formerly of the Bank of Canada Museum, leader of research into Canadian die varieties of Victorian heads, and author of many books, including texts on US broken, territorial, and state banks. I have had a letter return, and his email address that I have used bounced back. If anyone knows how to contact him, please do so, and have him contact me at <<<Personal Information Removed by Forum Staff>>>I could also be contacted privately for a phone number. I have some information, and many questions, about the finishes on Canadian Proof-Like coins.

Sorry- He lives in the US, has an unlisted number for security reasons.
I think I will try one of the publishers- He might still be getting royalties from the Haxby/Willey Coin Catalogue.

Try contacting the publisher of the coin guide he wrote with Wiley.

I have tried that now, and it is not possible through Unitrade. I was referred to Trajan Publishing- CCN- who will pass on my request through someone else who may be meeting him or talking to him within the next month. Thjanks for the help and suggestions.
