Hi gang, as you can see I've been bangin' my head against a brick wall trying to locate an I.C.C.S., Canada 1952, Arnprior silver dollar. I have even contiplated putting a "Wanted dead or alive" add in Kiji / E-bay for this evasive piece! I see that the latest Charlton Standard Coin Catalogue and The Canadian Coin News Trends has this coin listed in grades up to MS-63. It's the final Canadian silver dollar I need to finish the entire 1935-1967 series in I.C.C.S. Mintstate. (Varieties inc.) If anyone out there has one or any knowledge on where to find one, please let me know!
That's interesting. My Gardmaster Canada Dollar album has slots for the 1950 and 1951 Arnpriors, but for the '52 dollar it only has slots for two varieties: "water lines" and "no water lines." Now I see you're right that Charlton does list a 1952 Arnprior (and notes that unlike the other Arnpriors, the '52 was deliberately created). Well heck. I'm just gonna consider my set complete since all the holes in the album are filled.
