Hi again. I have an 1827 large cent that I got on vacation a few years ago. It is not in very good shape. The design around the outside edge is thick on one side and very thin (almost gone) on the other. Is this an error or were they just made that way?

I don't see where any of the design elements are missing, so no error. Slightly off center, not bad for the equipment they used almost 200 years ago.
