I belive this issue is now sold out at the Mint.
Any ideas when the next MM in this series will be coming out
RAM must be doing something right for a change, three recent issues, namely, 2006 Royal Visit 50 cents UNC,2006 Queen's 80th Birthday 50 cents UNC are all sold out.

Lim...there is only 1 coin in this series.
All commonwealth games including this $1 were designed to be sold out by the end of the games as the mint believed they would not sell aftert the games ended.
The "royal" 50c coins was a case of poor market research. The mint believed they had made enought to last till August 2006. They were not expecting a sellout as fast as this. This will leave a shortage on the market which is good for the "haves" but not for the "have nots".

These $1s were not on the market for long. Wonder what the final mintage is going to be? I think they will probably be a good investment.

I wonder why that eBay sellar has the price that high, Bigfella has them selling for $2.75 each.
BTW Bigfella if I may ask, has there been much demand for the commonwealth coin? Just curious.

I have them for $3.50 on eBay as eBay fees + paypal mean you actually loose out. Anyway...demand has been good...better than the TV $1 with a number of customers buying reasonable quantities. This is probably because it is a one only mint mark with no circulation coin...just like the VC, navy and vietnam $1.

I got a tip these M Mint marks are good due to the fact they will go well as they are expected to peform better than the normal Mintmarks.

So far any $1 not issued into circulation and that does not form part of a mint mark series (ie a one off) has performed well.

If 'M' is Mint your own, why would it perform better? I would assume they will be minted on a large scale. Is it possible to put together a set of all $1 M mint coins?
