Hey
Bigfella &
Brissyboy - Although I have
not got my CAB yet, I will answer a couple of your questions...
Bigfella - Thanks for mentioning our articles... It was a long collaboration between Ian & myself, have been waiting months for it to get finalised & printed! I would also like to say without Mr Ian Mc Connelly & my unnamed dealer friend, this concept would not have been possible, so thank you both.
I truly hope everyone enjoys the articles, and now you all have a new Aussie 50c variation to be looking for... Good Luck!

Mate as for the company's name that authenticated it... Sorry, this coin was authenticated by them, for me, purely as a personal favour. They had not been named in the article (nor here) because it was not fair to them, to be wasting their time fielding questions about MY coin, which after 6 years since release they have not seen another, so any possible orders to arise from this article could not be met. It was authenticated for me out of friendship, and nothing else. But trust me they are well known dealers & very respected!
Brissyboy - I have no real answers for you... As you know I'm a note bloke and coins are defiantly NOT my forte, hence the original authentication of the coin, which then lead to this article... To try and find out more about it, from clever coin fellow's like yourself... EG. The rarity, opinions or better yet a consensus as to why it's missing it's mint mark, and what we all thought about the article's in general.
As mentioned I can't comment to much without see the article in full as it was left up to Mr Ian Mc Connelly's expertise to do all the editing and the final copy, so I'm not sure what content was included or excluded. And will comment further when Aust Post do their job and
deliver me my CAB!! Talk soon....
