Hi all,
I am an Australian looking for an American dealer to whom I can send my coins to get slabbed by PCGS. Does any one in the States know of dealers who might be comfortable doing that for me?
Regards,
Eric

Perhaps it's worthwhile to join and submit yourself.

The paperwork is not too bad and access to the population
reports online is a nice thing. I guess it depends on how
many coins you plan on sending in and if your looking for the
dealer to prescreen your submission. Joe

EDIT for poor spelling on a gorgous Sunday morning.

Thank you. I want to see how well these slabs will sell here in Australia before I sign up to them. But I will look into those lists. Thank you.

Eric, if you have found any excellent dealers, please do recommand one for me. I am in the process of looking for one but never decided because of the awful costs.

Perhaps you should pool your resources and form an unofficial "joint" membership, where the person who joins submits for the group.

Eric,

Is there a reason you only want to use PCGS? I know if you join the ANA (http://www.money.org/AM/Template.cfm?Section=Home) for $36 you can then submit coins to NGC for grading, based on their regular submission fees. If you join the Collector's Society for $99 (NGC) you get 5 free submissions and then you pay their regular submission fees. I don't know the volume you want to do, but the submission prices may vary depending on volume.

I would be intersted in knowing how well the PCGS slabs go there in Australia as well. In general what I have heard is that most collectors and dealers outside of the US really don't like the idea of slabbing. I know both of the certification services there in Australia have folded.
