this was found by Marc in Va. hunting at a CW encampment site.. I bet he had a heart attack! what a find! I thought you guys wouldnt mind seeing a piece like this..jd

Great work j.d. in Missouri. Beyond the neat coin, those bullets (if I remember right from over 40 years ago), are about 54 cal. Not too much a projo that size will not penetrate. Thanks for posting everything for us j.d.. Happy hunting on your next hunt.

Fabulous find to say the least! The darn think was over 70 years old by the time the war started! Even in "good" condition this is worth low 5 figures...Great Colonial contract issue!! Mike

this one was found in 2004 in NJ with a metal detector it sold for $23,000.00 at auction!
