Seal Issue On Dollar - Coin Community Forum

Rallod New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 05/15/2013 6:04 pm A dollar bill with a seal outline duplication x 2. Only the outline of the Seal is duplicated - at first glace it looks like a thumb print - however, there are 2 duplications. The first is obvious, with the second much lighter intersecting the first duplication at the 1 and 3 o'clock position. The questions are - 1) is the "Ink Shadow" an issue made at the mint? 2) If yes, what is it worth? The year of the One dollar bill is 1985 - approximately that's how long I have had it. I have a similar note and mine is a thumb print of the district number on the right side.
