Just found this interesting. Is this a flawed planchet?, PMD or "defaut de flan" (default blank?). And what is the difference between a planchet flaw and default blank? Just curious, thank you for the help.

It looks to be struck through.

I've never heard the term default blank.

Défaut de flan,is planchet flaw,google translations are often too literal.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
