Just had a quick question for whoever wants to take it. Would a dollar bill with the same last 5 numbers be something worth saving or selling?

I would say it has to be at least 7 same numbers before there's a premium, the pro's would acknowledge this.

but then...I think it depends on the number. People buy Lucky 7's and 8's. I think having 5 identical numbers in a row is one of those quirky things that is interesting...and if I found it I would probably keep it -- until I met somebody who wanted it more than I did. If you belong to a club or go to shows you might meet someone who would pay a tiny bit over face value for it. I don't think you could get much, but then if you know somebody who collects bills maybe you could just sell it for face value and make them happy. A new collector would appreciate it
It wasn't that long ago when I thought that 'mint error' meant that something was wrong with my candy.

77777777 and/or 00000007 are definitely the ultimate winners ...

but I would stop and ponder 00000666 (creepy, but effective) ...

However=> "yes" 5 of a kind is definitely worth more than an "average" bill for the exact reason that biggfredd mentioned => chances are fair that you can still con a fool into pulling out his wallet and losing to your 5 of a kind!

If it were five fives I think it would have a premium.
