Has anyone seen the price for these things, they just started hitting eBay thick and fast as they are sold out, mintage was 15,000
RRP: was $29.95

I normally don't bother with the PNC stuff but with bids and selling them at $40 and $50 you can't really ignore them.

Give it a few weeks and price will slacken off. Same thing happened with the 15,000 mintage of tax 20c piece. Now, they are infrequently on eBay but you can pick them up for less than issue price - not long ago I purchased group of 5 for 90 bucks-

I'd say wait on these to drop back down to 30-

They haven't completely sold out. My local post office still had 5 left (although they have one less now after I bought one).

With the mintage of 15,000 and the special date of 11.11.11 my gut feeling is that these will increase in value.

Well well well, would you look at eBay today CRAZY!
After reading Australian threepences page about the special release coin with red foil...And I love your page by the way!
And was surprised that they had found out something before me ;)

so they are hitting the net thick and fast, this is truly the biggest thing I have seen for a while and if you were one of the lucky ones to get theses baby's you are truly rubbing your hands together with glee $$$$

The difference you are looking for is the ribbon flag print over the 60c stamp

Here they are interesting to see what the going price will end at.

It was issued by the RAM (Royal Australian Mint) jointly with (Australia Post) in this PNC (Postal Numismatic Cover)
The stamp and coin cover contains the $5 Poppy coin from the RAM and the Australia Post stamp with postmark.
