Brazil 960 reis 1820 struck over a Carolus IIII 8 reales

Hi,

While looking for post-spanish south american coins, I did bid on this one which I particularly liked. OK, it's not one I should be looking for, but I liked the design, and the fact that it was stuck over a Carolus IIII 8 reales.
Part of the king's name and ordinal is clearly visible - I didn't managed to get the date though (mostly because the big cross from the other side of the coin is inverted where the date should be)

I have always liked this series, not for the 960 Reis coins but to attempt to identify the host coins they were struck over. There was a nice thread on these a year or so back, fascinating coins.

Wow, that's a cool piece of history. The 8 reales design really sticks out in some parts.
