Some of the dealers are great, but some of them are useless.
I like to hear the information that they give. One of the dealers was telling me about a gentleman who hoarded 1923 Halfpennies & 1934-35 Florins who passed away a few years ago. He was saying that that could be part of the reason for 1923 Halfpennies not increasing in value. I found that interesting, but I also think that every coin collectors big first purchase is a 1923 Halfpenny. But when we look at the fact of how many altered dates are around & screwing people that could also be a big key point. He graded my 1923 Halfpenny obverse as VF & my reverse as aVF.
I always like seeing what dealers think of some of my favourites & I see if Trevor Wilkins is interested in taking up any of my polymers.
