Wasn't sure what to think of this. Thought it would be worth looking into. In case you can't view the photo, there are a series of 30 numbers on the back side of a $20 bill. If it is an error, any thoughts on it's value?

I am no expert but it looks like someones account number transferred from a deposit slip or the numbers were stamped there by the machine the bank uses to print the numbers on the deposit slips.

I don't think it would be an error that was done at the BEP but I am not sure what would do it either. It could be what what was said above or some other type of machine that put them there, but the atm deposit thing really makes sense to me like the ink went through the envelope or something and bled through to the note

It does look like the numbers on the deposit slips the tellers use. Like they ran it through one of those machines. But don't they print the date and deposit amount on them too?

It is too lengthy for just the account #. I can't remember what all the digits are for.

Thanks for the responses. I guess I won't be retiring off of this note :( I released her back into circulation today.
