Usually I just pass over offset coins, because they are minor, but this one was more offset than normal.

Would you all think this would carry a premium? My guess would be no.

I don't know how much, but since part of the design is missing it will carry some premium.

Yeah, sorry, the reverse is normal, that's why I didn't post a picture.

Nice find. I'd keep it. It will never be worth a whole lot, in my opinion, but I'm sure somebody would buy it if you wanted to sell it.
It wasn't that long ago when I thought that 'mint error' meant that something was wrong with my candy.

It's a "MAD" Misaligned die. Since some of the devices are off the planchet it does carry a value.I sold one on eBay that was missing the top half of liberty for 7 bucks.

A keeper. Nice find.

Some have asked about my images I use and I've glad to say I've completed an educational DVD of these. Ask if you are interested.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

I consider that a mild MAD and would put a small premium on it. I would put it in a 2x2 and keep it.
