Can someone help with these cents please?
I don't know if they are PMD or not,therefore I don't know what to mark on the flips.ANY HELP much appreciated!
Thank you guys.
(Each cent weighs 2.5 grams & normal size)

Looks like an acid bath on #1. IMO. #2 no idea but likely PMD.
Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

I would agree with the acid bath on the first, and suspect lamination error on the second. :D

Another question:Wouldn't an acid bath make a coin lighter
than normal weight?(The coin is 2.5 grams)
I don't know.This type of "STUFF" is not down my alley.

#2 not sure but doesnt look "mint"

both PMD, both worth 1 penny.

In hand th'89 looks similar to the'85,but not as much damage.
