Very nice buy. MS 64 either PL or only a maybe DMPL, don't think so though. Would be better if in my hand.

Looking at the (your) reflection in a couple of shots makes me think this is real close to DMPL. Should have at the very least given a PL designation. MS64_____. Very nice Morgan. Gotta love those early San Fran strikes!

I am going to go with MS65PL as well. There's not a whole lot of hits on this one.

If you'd posted images like the first and last here for the previous one, I'd have never gone so high as 65. This one, however, has a shot at it.
The best thing about a bicycle is that it uses no gasoline, therefore the chance of fiery death is greatly reduced.

This ALMOST looks like the 67 I missed on eBay a few days ago. Is it?
Otherwise I'm saying 66 'cause it looks better than my 65.

And she is..... 64PL Added my 300esque filter in photoshop just for fun. Any seller could be dangerous with photoshop, thats for sure. She took too many hits to the face to grade 65. Without the face hits, she'd get 66 IMO. Dave, the first and last pictures were from the seller! No way could I get that kind of detail with my 14 mp point and shoot, and I dont plan to go out and get a $500+ DSLR!

Based on the last picture you posted I agree with the 64.

I'm with you on that one. I'm using my 7.1 mega pixel Canon at the moment. Not the greatest results, but at least I have remote shoot capabilities.
By the way, gorgeous Morgan. I'll say it again, I love the early San Frans.

1879-S is about like 1881-1882-S Morgans. They are sharply struck and are great for a type set because of their availability and how sharply struck they are. I have PCGS MS-67 1879-S and it looks like something the mint would produce today it is so razor sharply struck and this one you have posted looks about the same

Thanks Dave(x)! I'm finding myself starting to fall into the O's actually, not quite sure why. Dont have any clue as to where I'm going with my collection yet, so might as well get a few of each strike location, minus the CC's, they can wait.
