I got a 1999 Oh Canada coin set. Never been opened. Looked at the coins today and noticed a line on the obverse of the quarter from the Queens chin through the "N" in Regina all the way to the edge of the rim.

Any info about this would be appreciated.

Looks like a die crack, but it's hard to be sure from the picture.

Are you sure it is in the coin, and not the plastic case?
Signature? Hmm......let me think...

I am positive that it is on the coin, and not in the plastic.

This picture was taken with the plastic cover off.

I have to agree. It looks like a die crack.
I also have mint sets that have errors of some sort.

I work with whitete, and have seen it as well. This is definately not the plastic.

Nice big die crack! It's unusual to find such a noticeable error in a PL set. Collector coins like this are supposed to be inspected at the mint.
