I'm new to this forum and new to collecting. Not sure if I should get all three coins graded or just the CC.

I'm guessing they would all at least be ms62s... But, again not sure.

What do you think?

Also the first time taking pictures, so please let me know if I should redue any.

Many thanks.

As far as I know, get the CC graded. At least I would.

Nice coins! why would you want to get them graded? They all look choice but not are Gems.

1893S - I was thinking that by grading them would help protect them, and give me a better chance of resale (If I wanted to go that route). Also, I was reading somewhere if the coin is worth over $200 or $300 it's worth to grade them. Which would be the CC for sure, not sure about the other two coins.

Hard to tell from the pic but the 78-P looks like it might be a 7/8 TF. Post close ups of the tailfeathers and arrow shafts, please.

I think the coins could grade MS-63, MS-64, and MS-63. You may want to post these in the VAM forum for some of the vamming experts to take a look at.

homerecher, sorry but I'm an anti slab guy so maybe my view may not fit your goals. In the real world of coin buying and selling where I live, sight seen raw coins are way more sellable than TPG graded coins. At the shows I'm at raw Morgans outsell slabbed Morgans around 10 to 1 but this may not be true with your situation. I've found that many slabbed Morgans are real problems when trying to sell. Your coins are real nice, but average BU, and I'm not sure of any likely better profit once slabbed. I wish you good luck with whatever you decide!

I don't know what I'm gonna do. I'll keep em raw for now because I have no intention of selling right now. I didn't think they were gem bu's. I have such a hard time telling the difference between a 63/64/65, etc. I'm still learning.
