Titanic Deluxe Coin and Stamp Set (2012) - $ 140.95+tx

http://www.mint.ca/store/coin/titan...-prod1410016

I don't know if anybody noticed this on the Mint's page today. Just putting the info out there.

Your Titanic Collector's Set includes a leather-bound embossed collectible album that tells the story of the tragedy from a Canadian perspective. Your set includes an authentic White Star stock certificate, circa early 1900s in a protective mount, all five stamps from Canada Post's Titanic's 100th Anniversary issue, two sold out Royal Canadian Mint Titanic coins, a special re-created Titanic cancel, and three Titanic postcards.

So Surprise and So Confuse.
This set already sale at CP for long time.

And the Big Confusing is:
What is the total mintage for the 50 cents coin?

We got $10000 for this set on RCM
Previously, The 50 cents by itseft released on mint is $15000
And I do not know how many on CP. see link below:
http://www.canadapost.ca/shop/colle...ecution=e1s1
Anyone has the answer?

I guess the sale of it is not that good. So, RCM is helping CP.

Have two of these sets. Originally thought I would sell one, but once I received them, decided to hang on to both. Great quality and a nice piece of history.

So, Noone care about the total mintage of the coin?
If this is the whole new set from RCM, not from the CP. It also means there are 10000 more 50 cents Titanic coin.
Damn, I paid $80 for my 50 cents coin. I know people sale this coin double or triple the issue price on the secondary market, because of the low mintage.

There is 10,000 of this set made and only 5000 of the single 50 cent coins made that is it. IT WILL NOT CHANGE

^^^ agreed
I don't understand where the controversy came from. Isn't it quite obvious that 5000 was individually packaged and 10,000 packaged by CP in the leather bound set?

Last night there was about 350 sets available on the RCM web site, and currently there is only 217 set in stock.

So, they are selling well, however, and I ask where you got those numbers Dodola? You seem to have inside info on quantities.

very very interesting. CP sells this set for quite a long time, but the RCM makes it sold out within 24 hours.

Wow...that was fast - for a product that's been readily available for such a long time.

Using you're method, Canada Post still shows 455 available.
