Went to Bank of America, TD Banknorth, Webster, New Alliance, and United Bank. None of them had ANY. Hit up a smaller local bank and they had the 10 rolls I was looking for... too bad they were all searched (thanks MM). The teller told me there was another 200 dollars in rolls if I wanted to come back. I may do that...

I have been following this thread for some time and thought I would post todays findings. I am still awed at my hunting results. landed 7 rolls of Franklin halves all from the 1950s-1960s. also got 2 rolls of solid 1967 kennedy in AU condition. 9/26 rolls full of silver searched today!

Thank you, I found them in customer rolls. It was at a nationwide bank chain that years ago had been a local chain. the coincs came in wrappers from the original bank. I cleaned the branch out or so they tell me. I went to the HQ in the city thinking that the branch might have only had so many rolls but the tellers are very young and not too friendly. I had gotten an old bank wrapped roll there so I asked them for some but they brought out a fed box. The rolls were labeled by year and I almost fell over at the window when I got a roll of franklins held together by tape

My efforts today yielded no silver....mostly running into rolls I've dumped being redistributed all over the county. I did get 8 rolls from a bank that I've been to only once before. It yielded 66 NIFC (02P-21, 02D-18, 03P-10, 03D-17).
