$320.00 worth of customer wrapped from various banks in 2 towns yielded only one 40% and a 2006D.

Question;

I'm wondering if its worth while to keep the NIFC'S that I've found.

Is there any kind of buyer's market for these coins?

Thanks for any opinions.

All the NIFC's have a much lower mintage obviously. That alone is why I keep all of them I run across.

Did 4 boxes today - 3 skunks and the other had 3 90% including a well worn 1902 Barber. After 417 boxes - finally the elusive barber has appeared!

I'd keep the NIFCs. They routinely sell for way over face value on ebay and their low mintage will keep their values up I think

417 boxes, now that's dedication!

Still sorting thru the 2 boxes, but had to post this!

can't believe this was in one of the rolls.

I'll post complete results on these 2 boxes in a little while.

Nice find! I never did find a barber, though I probably only went through around 100-150 boxes.

Thanks!

Believe it or not, I've only gone thru less than 20 boxes total.
I usually stick to Lincoln's and Jeffersons and when I feel like I need a break then I'll order one or 2 boxes and that's only once a week.

Here is the final count for these 2 boxes.
Silver:
1- 1907O Barber
1- 1952D Franklin
1- 1961D Franklin
1- 1964P

Silver Clad:

1 -1965P
1 -1966P
10-1967P
8 -1968D
4 -1969D

* 1- 2002D NIFC
* 1- 2004D NIFC

*Question regarding the Barber Half- its supposed to weigh 12.50 Grams,

I weighed this coin and it weighs 11.50 grams- 1 full gram less.

Is it normal to loose 1 gram of weight from wear etc over the years?

coin shows alot of wear. possibility of the planchet being slightly light also. I think it's an acceptable weight.

2 Barber finds... I like it! I've only done about 20 boxes of halves, so I hope it doesn't take me 417 boxes to find one!!

Went to a different city today and stopped by a dozen banks and found a total of 11 rolls of halfs. Nothing! Did pick up 8 Samoa quarters though!
