Where are you boys and girls getting these customer rolls from? This home team is in a terrible slump, and I need to try some new approaches...

Any of the major armoured companies crimp/roll both ends of the half rolls. Brinks, Loomis, Dunbar, ect. If you search around enough you will find the re-rolled rolls that have been searched and turned back in. The ends are opened and folded down flat. Always makes a nice waste of time.

Road trip today! After $790.00 worth of customer wrapped rolls I ended up with a 1963D Franklin (probably AUish...Lots of luster not grey like the usual roll finds) and 24-40%. Also grabbed a 1981S proof! Two of the 40% were 1965's so I finally have a roll of those suckers!

The weekend is already off to a great start. Stopped in a bank today and asked for some rolls of halves. Teller said she had a few in her coin box and checked the vault and said she had 25 rolls and I asked for 15 but saw the rolls looked good I asked for the rest. Got into the car and opened one roll and on the end was a 1964! When I got home I opened the 10 rolls that all looked the same. 5 rolls of pure silver and 6 other rolls with silver halves. Count at the end of the day 49-1964 (some BU) and 72-40%. Glad I decided to get the rest of those rolls!

Congrats Ratman & Cashgardener, that's so fun when you get rolls of pure silver! And you know I think customer rolls is really the only time you get that, (course you have to hit the bank just right!) If there is anyone who has had pure silver out of fed rolls, I would like to know. Anyway we continue to collect, fast or slow, its all good!

I have been searching rolls of halves for almost a year now. At first I was getting around 14 silver halves per box. lately it has been 1 skunk after another.
CWR's and teller trays have not been much better. If I go out searching, I wish I would have stayed home. When I stay home I think about what I might find.

Finally I had my day! After going thought a few boxes and only finding one 1966 Kennedy in the last six months. I was wondering why everyone else seems to have all the luck. Well my day came yesterday. The bank teller told me they just got five rolls of halves from a customer and I said I'll take them. Not thinking that my luck would change, I still opened one as soon as I got home. Boy, was I surprised. First roll had 4-64, 1-67, and two 68D. Second roll had 2-64, 4-67, 1-68D and one 69D. third roll had 2-65, 2-66, 2-68D and one 69D. fourth roll had 4-64, 1-65 and one 68D. fifth roll had 1-58D, 2-64 and one 67. That's 13 90% silver and 19 40% silver. Talk about making my day!
