Got to the bank today to get my 4 boxes and they ordered 4k instead, so 8 boxes. I searched one which was a skunk and dumped it. Going back after work for the other two. So I will have 7 to go through this weekend...

All I have to say is...try living in a country that has changed coins so many times there is NOTHING in circulation worth collecting (that I know of).

I'd love to roll hunt...if I could get anything down here in Mexico. :p

AgCoinHunter:

Great find on the 40%'s all in one box!

Here are my totals from 4 boxes from yesterday and today:

1- box was a complete dud.(Skunked)
From the remaining 3 boxes:
90% Silver:

1-42S Walker
4 Ben Franklins - 49P and a 54,60 and 63D.
7-64P Kennedy's

40 % Silver:
2-66's
8-67's
7-68's
2-69's

* 1- 1986S Clad Proof
4- N.I.F.C'S- 02D,06D,08 P & D.

Big improvement over my 4 box = 7 coin total from last week!

Just have to keep plugging away as any box could be the one that has a large silver content in it.

9 csr's yielded me a 1964 & 1967. Halves were scarce today so I bought a couple boxes of nickels.

I picked up my usual two boxes of halves on friday and only pulled one 40% silver. However, I did find 6 NIFC:

3 2009 P, 1 2009 D, 1 2003 P, 1 2003 D.

Not too unusual, but I was not expecting to see a 2009 half for a while.

I'm in NC. Wachovia around me don't have coin counters. Parkway banks usually have them. You might check RBC. One branch near me has one and I dump everything EXCEPT halves in their machine because they also order boxes of halves for me. Halves are easy enough to reroll anyway. I also have noticed that alot of the state credit unions have machines.

unknown 95;

Yes I have 2 local banks which I use that have coin counting machines in the lobby!

One is a TD bank (formerly Commerce Bank)- and they have to change the .50 cent bag every $100.00 which is a real pain, the other, I'm not mentioning for fear of someone dumping their looked at halves on me.

Motos, yes all in one box. Box had 5-6 rolls showing silver on the top when I opened it.

Tore through the 7 other boxes I got Friday and they were all skunks. Have 2 more at home that I picked up Saturday and on the way to pick up 2 more at lunch. Not really expecting much since this bank has supplied a mojority of my skunks.

Last couple days have been good to me. I picked up 7 rolls all customer wrapped and there was one that looked odd. Opened it up and saw a 73 on top but poured out the roll and there was a big suprise. Got 8 Walkers and 5 Franklins as well as 2 64s and 4 40%. Other rolls had a few but nothing like this one. Totals were 16% 90 and 4 40%. These were my first Walker finds so I am really excited!
Walker dates:
1936
1937
1941 (near AU)
1942S
1943
1943S
1946
1947

Congrats Cashgardner! I picked up $177 in rolls from a PNC near me. They were brinks in the black and white wrappers, which I've usually had not luck with but.... I had no luck with these either. Big 'ol skunk. I really hate Brinks!!
